Biblical School of World Evangelism equips Christians for cross-cultural service.  BSWE is a local church, educational ministry of First Baptist Church of Milford which exists to train missionaries, pastors, and ministry leaders for world evangelism.  The school offers both semester and modular courses while seeking to balance academic excellence with practical training.


BSWE offers four, three, two and one-year programs.  The one-year program is a unique emphasis on missions - 38 hours of resident instruction - much of which is taught in the modular format by veteran missionary practitioners.  The following are just some of the missions courses offered: Prayer, Spiritual Warfare, Articulatory Phonetics, Second Language Acquisition, Chronological Bible Teaching, Biblical Missiology, Pre-field Ministry, Cross-cultural Evangelism, Solutions to Culture Stress, Interpersonal Relationships, Training National Leaders, Women in Missions, Church Planting, Contextualization, and Missions in History.  A one-year field internship is offered (and highly recommended) but is mandatory for students pursuing the four-year program.
